Hobbies

My favourite hobby is playing the bass. I played in a group of brazilian and jazz music named Sabará. You can check some live performances in my YouTube profile by clicking  here . Since I'm currently a PhD candidate in France, I play in a group named Brésil Bossa Sound, formed with friends from Sabará, my co-advisor, Prof. Gilmar Mompean, and some french friends we met here in Lille. I also enjoy some sports. My first passion was swimming. Then, volleyball became a very pleasant activity. Since 2012, I practice running and I participate in events. I attended the editions of 2013 and 2014 of Paris Half Marathon. In 2020, I started to swim again, only now in open water.

Cooking is also another hobby. I've fallen in love with French Pastry. I always say that kitchen is a lab, and I do live up to this lemma!
